What's New?
The Switch Vehicle option in Dispatching is much smarter at handling future assignments. It will still handle current assignments the same way by ending the drivers current assignment and starting a new assignment with a new vehicle. This is especially helpful with vehicle breakdowns where a driver switches from the broken down vehicle to a new one, or if they drive vehicle 101 in the morning and vehicle 202 in the afternoon.
For future assignments, the Switch Vehicle option will allow the driver to switch the vehicle without having to split the assignment and create a new one. This will allow dispatchers to quickly switch vehicles without having to use the assignment screen.
The Revenue By Account report is now easier to work with for companies that bill canceled and no show trips. You now have the option to choose the individual statuses that the account bills.
Improvements?
- RoutingBox no longer crashes when attempting to load a blank file in the importer screen.
- The MAS Auto Trip Importer now allows MAS to re-schedule a trip that they previously canceled. This importer still cannot make changes to trips that were already finalized (canceled or completed) by the transporter.
Every Friday, we go LIVE on Facebook to talk about new RoutingBox features, industry trends, and best practices. Follow us on Facebook so you don't miss out!
Did You Know?
Notes don't have to be put on each trip individually! If a note is put on a Client, Provider, or Location record, it will automatically be included on any trip linked to those records. This is a great way to ensure critical notes regarding the person or place are always on the trip.
