- This week we fixed an issue that caused the New and Save buttons to sometimes disappear from windows when switching between tabs.
- We also updated the Trip Importer to handle Fidelis files with data formatted in a different way.
- We made improvements to how Trip Scheduling orders cancelled trips. Previously Will Call return legs would appear as the first leg when cancelled. They will now be correctly sorted with the rest of the legs, based on the order of the addresses.
Did You Know?
Don't forget, we've included a space in RoutingBox Errors for you to leave additional information or comments for us.
We never want RoutingBox to stop working, but sometimes it does. Our development team reviews each error report we receive, in order to fix these issues. Typically the cause is straightforward; for example, one of our improvements this week was due to a Fidelis file, which contained incorrectly formatted data, so the file was rejected by the Trip Importer. RoutingBox is designed to only import data that we can interpret confidently, so we'll skip imports that are inconsistent with the typical format. Our team found the cause as soon as the error came in, and updated the Trip Importer to interpret this different formatting appropriately.
Other times, these errors can be less straightforward. Leaving our team a comment describing what you were doing at the time of the error can help our team track it down and have it fixed even quicker!
We'll help you with all the BiTS and pieces of our software.
