What's New?
This week we made a change to the Route Suggestions feature in Dispatching. Route Suggestions now considers the DISPATCH_MODE_CHECK setting, which allows you to control whether to warn the user if the trip's mode doesn't match the vehicle's.
If you have the setting on, you are familiar with this popup:
When the setting is set to "1", Route Suggestions will now favor vehicles whose mode matches the trip over those with a different mode. When set to "2", only vehicles whose mode matches the trip will appear as options to assign the trip to.
Additionally, a new setting has been added for the Trip Importer called IMPORT_CLIENTS_ON_HOLD. When enabled, the importer will schedule trips for clients that are marked On Hold. By default, the importer does not allow you to schedule trips for client that are on hold.
This can be helpful for customers who receive trips from brokers for clients they don't transport anymore, but need the trips to go in so they can attest to them as cancelled.
Improvements?
- This week we fixed an issue that caused the Tracker screen to sometimes display the wrong trip- status when multiple clients were on the vehicle at the same time.
- We also updated the Trip Importer to handle Fidelis files with data formatted in an irregular way.
Did You Know?
Don't forget if you use Status Reasons you can see the reason a trip was cancelled by hovering your mouse over the status in the Trip Scheduling screen.
If any edits to the reason need to be made, simply right-click on the status to bring up the edit popup.
We'll help you with all the BiTS and pieces of our software.
