The Use Past Trip Times setting in the Trip Importer automatically updated the trip times of imported trips based on t time changes you've made in the past. When Use Past Trip Times is checked, and a client had the same trip in the past with a slightly different time, the time will be updated. RoutingBox is essentially learning that you always change this trip to a different time and it will begin to do it for you.
In the past, this option was fixed at a 4-hour window around the trip (2 hours before and after). This means that a trip imported for a 16:00, which you've previously changed to 13:30, would not be updated. This week, we've added a new system setting so you can have precise control of the time window; just contact our Support Team to have this changed.
Use Past Trip Times is located in the Settings tab of the Trip Importer.
The Trip Importer has been updated to better react to import files with bad or missing data. In the event of a problematic import file, a new dialog box will appear, pointing out the rows or fields that are causing the error. Files can then be modified or regenerated accordingly, and you will know exactly where the problem with the file is.
Fixed an issue with selecting Assignments in the Trip Viewer when there were multiple assignments with the same driver.
Speed improvements were made to the initial load of most records screen; Client, Account, Provider, Location.
Did You Know?
Since many accounts require the vehicle plate number to be recorded on the trip, it's important to keep vehicle data up to date in the Vehicles screen. When editing the plate on an existing vehicle, you'll be prompted with a dialog asking if you'd like to create a new vehicle. Selecting Yes will create a new vehicle profile with all the same information except the license plate. Doing this allow you to have the new plate going forward and have the old plate kept on past trip records.
