How to Create Vehicle Checklist in RoutingBox Web
RoutingBox allows drivers to complete an electronic vehicle checklist to verify the working order of the vehicle at the start of their shift.
THE CHECKLIST CAN BE TURNED ON FOR END OF DAY, BEGINNING OF DAY OR BOTH. PLEASE CONTACT ROUTINGBOX SUPPORT TO HAVE THIS FEATURE TURNED ON.
1. In RoutingBox Web, begin by opening the sidebar and navigating to the settings screen.

2.Locate the “Vehicle Checklist” option in the final row of the second column on the settings screen, then select it to proceed.

3. Click on +New Vehicle Checklist Item

4. Next, the Add Vehicle Checklist Item window will appear. Arrow 1 indicates where you enter the name of the action to be completed by the driver—for example, “Check Tires.” Arrow 2 allows you to provide a detailed description of the task, such as instructing the driver to “Check tire pressure.” Please note that this description is not visible to drivers in the mobile app. Arrow 3 is used to determine the order in which the action appears in the checklist. Arrow 4 enables you to specify whether this action should be included on the checklist. This feature is especially helpful for managing seasonal tasks, such as snow removal.

5. Once you have completed adding a vehicle checklist item, you will return to the vehicle checklist screen. It’s important to note that checklist items may not appear in the order in which they were created. Arrow 1 highlights the active status indicator for each checklist item. By clicking this box, as shown by Arrow 2, you can inactivate a checklist item when it is no longer needed. If your list includes more than 10 checklist items, you can use the navigation arrows indicated by Arrow 3 to move through the checklist efficiently.
