Sometimes you will need to return a portion of a claim’s payment to eMedNY.
Select the Edit Claim icon 
on the claim.
1. Adjust the Units to reflect the correct amount. In this example, the base unit would change from 3 to 2.
2. Save the claim.
3. Change the Status to Ready to rebill the claim. When a claim that already has a payment is rebilled it will first refund the entire amount paid, then it will bill the new amount on the claim.
