How to Search for a Claim in MedBatch

Search for a claim in the claims grid using CIN, Client, or PA#. Using a filter will narrow down your results. Only claims that include the information specified will populate in the grid.

Search

Specify how you'd like to search by clicking the dropdown arrow. The current options are search by the Client name, CIN, or PA#. The search box highlights claims in the grid that meet the search results. Hit the enter key to go to the next applicable claim.

Filters

  • The arrow expands or collapses the filter options.
  • Status Filter: Refines the claims grid based on the chosen filter criteria.
    • All: All claim statuses except Hidden
    • No Status: Only claims with No Status (unbilled claims)
    • Not Approved: All claim status except Approved and Hidden
    • To Submit: Only Denied and No Status claims
    • Ready Claims
    • Submitted Claims 
    • Approved Claims
    • Denied Claims
    • Pended Claims
    • Voided Claims
    • Hidden Claims
  • Claims From and Claims To: Claims appear for the selected date range
    • The calendar icon after Claims To offers quick date options
  • Batch Filter: Narrow down the claims grid based on a specific batch. The easiest way to filter by a batch is to go to Batch History and select the batch from the Total Billed field.
  • County: Filters results by the specified County.
  • Proc. Code: Filters results in the claims grid to those that have the selected procedure code.
  • Error Code: Filters results in the claims grid to those that have the selected error code.
  • CIN: Filters results in the claims grid to those that have the selected CIN.
  • Auto Refresh: When checked it will refresh the grid whenever a filter update is made.
